In Portal Bridge Constructor Switch, level 36 presents the first challenging optimization task. Instead of getting fancy with angles, we can get creative with ropes. This is the first instance of the 'triple rope' trick, which I frequently use to save money and optimize constructions.

Noticing small angle variances makes a significant difference in the upper side bridge's stability, preventing it from breaking. The road piece's angle for pellet bouncing also benefits from using unusual angles, sometimes saving us money. Achieving precise bounces for convoys is indeed challenging.

To optimize inner ramps instead of bridges, I'll utilize this 'trick' frequently, saving a significant amount of money. While it feels cheap and unreliable at times, it's essential to balance the trade-off. These under support structures are typical in the Bridge Constructor series, although they function slightly differently here.

The following designs are relatively easy to optimize, so I'll provide screenshots with additional comments where necessary. However, please note that these can be further optimized, but I've chosen not to do so for this article.

This reference aims to demonstrate low-budget design possibilities, allowing players to compare scores or attempt to improve their own constructions. For more complex designs, I'll post videos showcasing their behavior and stability.
